Broken Chains

I tried to write something to post, but this picture captures my feelings much better than I can in writing right now. Doesn't the tree look lonely? Posted by Hello

  • if only, if only, if only.... for some reason when i see that picture i imagine the tree thinking that over and over. Is it regret? Is it hopelessness? Is it wishful thinking? Who knows.

  • How about all three: regret, hopelessness and wishful thinking. Thankfully we have a high priest who is touched with the feeling of our infirmity, was tempted just as we are...He knows our weakness and His strength is made perfect in it.

  • I just think it's a beautiful picture of a serene place!

  • I'm afraid D has to agree with Ms R - I think the tree looks hopeful - like a lone pioneer refusing to listen to winds of despair. =)

  • I see a tree in a field. And it has no leaves. And there are no other trees around it. It's not depressing or hopeful to me. It just is.

  • That's because you're blocking your true feelings James...let them out! Don't be afraid to let your emotions run free! =P

  • James...aren't you the person who also refuses to smile in pictures? Uh-huh. Well, I think I have to agree with Denise on this one (and we ARE the ones with MAs in Biblical Counseling, yes?)...let out those repressed feelings!!

    Oh, and...see you TOMORROW!

  • it's interesting to see how people project their feelings and thoughts into a picture. Hey broken chain girl, can you send me the picture in a larger jpeg format? I would like to put it on my display screen. thanks
